Standard Bio (for press, booking, and venue use)
AJME is a progressive indie tech artist, DJ, and Orchestrator with more than two decades behind the decks. Rooted in the Arizona underground, his career has developed across club residencies, international radio, and performances in Ibiza, Istanbul, and the United States.
His international radio presence included broadcasts across stations in the UK, United States, and Croatia, with his show Build and Destroy reaching international syndication between 2022 and 2024. His work has also included involvement with collectives such as SCEDM and connections within the international progressive electronic music scene, including a guest mix contribution from Moshic.
In Ibiza, AJME performed across more than ten venues, holding winter residencies at Sigma and Alimya alongside in-season appearances at Café del Mar, La Troya, Paradise Lost, and Lola’s. In 2026, his first three submissions to Decoded Magazine resulted in three consecutive recognitions: Top 10 runner-up selections in March and May, followed by a Mix of the Month win in June for SEMELE’s Saudade.
AJME’s performances focus on long-form progression, atmosphere, and the evolving conditions of the room. His sets develop through structured arcs of tension, contrast, cohesion, and release, drawing from progressive electronic music, electronica, and indie dance while remaining responsive to the conditions of each performance. This approach extends into longer forms, including SEMELE’s Saudade, where duration allows themes and transitions to develop across a broader narrative scale through curation, custom audio processing, live looping, and layered effects.
For his Project SEMELE, AJME defines the role of the Orchestrator: in theory laid out in the concept blueprint, designing the structure in vision and as real-world events. AJME operates across the four roles, including the founding of Cautivar HZ. Through performance, he works from the foundation of SEMELE, progressing into the night with attention to the relationship that results from the music, sound, lighting, visual work, space, and participation.
